Not Every Lion in That Style is a FC

For those people out there who have a lion character that has nothing to do with TLK, is often drawn in the style, is associated with TLK just for being a lion character, has nothing to do with TLK, etc.

TLK - abbreviation for The Lion King.

Just because it's in the style or others draw it in that style does not mean a lion oc is part of the fandom. Often you can tell if you see a "TLK/The Lion King is © to Disney" in the credits then it is often a part of the fandom.
Cartoon lions don't equal TLK fan characters, if your lion is in TLK style but isn't related to TLK at all then the only thing people are looking at is the style.
Tons of other lion characters exist out there other than what are in TLK.
To list a few there's: Snagglepuss, Aslan, Cowardly Lion, and Lippy the Lion. (The last one may be far before many people's time)
Naturally there's also Kimba but we're not debating the similarities or having a controversial argument over that and TLK here. This is about an entirely different matter than that.

Also, why is it that if a character is hanging off a cliff everyone associates that with TLK? That has been done in countless films and medis. Here's a small list: [link] Falling off a cliff/being thrown off a cliff ≠ ripping off of The Lion King.
